Home-Start South Wiltshire is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age. Volunteers offer befriending support, practical and emotional advice in the homes of families who are having difficulties managing parenting for a variety of different reasons.

The charity is based in Wiltshire, which brings this closer to home… As this can affect anyone from family members, close friends or even a person reading this receiving voluntary help, to those who are experiencing or even in the same situations and are looking for help. 

This can happen to any one of us, not just as a parent or child growing up, but outsiders looking in, those with little to no experience but are aware and offering help to those who need it. Home-Start South Wiltshire is a valuable and often a lifeline for families who are in need of it, many of whom aren’t aware this exists…
