On the eve of Ramadan (10th March – 15th March 2023) God willing I will be visiting on a SELF-FUNDED (Flights, Food & Accomodation) aid trip to Sindh, Pakistan 🇵🇰 with the Nelson-based Hope For Mankind (International humanitarian charity).

I will be distributing Approx 50 KG Ramadan Food Parcels (ZAKAT APPLICABLE) to the most needy in poverty-stricken Sindh province. The Pakistan Floods (June - Sept 2022) caused devastation with 33 million affected - homes, businesses & lives were lost as well as many left homeless. Sindh was particularly affected with many living in straw roofed & mud built homes.

In Ramadan many of us will be fasting and have an abundance of food with our families. However, families in Sindh will be struggling for food in the sheer heat. Please make their Ramadan THAT MUCH EASIER by contributing towards the Food Parcels – the more we RAISE the More we can hand out. No donation is too high and no donation is too small – it all counts!

Each Food Parcel costs £50 which will weigh approx 50KG and will include the following (WHICH MAY CHANGE DEPENDING ON NEEDS ON THE GROUND):

20KG Flour, 10KG Rice, Cooking Oil 5KG, Salt 5KG, Lentil 2KG, Tea 0.5KG, Sugar 0.5KG, Red Chillies 0.5KG, Dates, Biscuits (3 Packets), Match Boxes (Dozen) & Mosquito Coils (4 Packets).

For 25 years I have been at the forefront of community & humanitarian initiatives at the local, national & international levels receiving national awards in the process. I work as a Careers Adviser in 3 inner city schools & take annual leave for my charity trips & self-fund them. To date I have raised over £630,000 for charitable causes both home & abroad. For the last 9 years every Thursday I have volunteered at the Curry Circle Project providing warm 2 course meals to the homeless & destitute. Ovet the last 11 years as part of the 'Creating Smiles Gifts Initiative' I have set up I've made 34 visits to hospitals childrens wards at Bradford Royal Infirmary & Airedale Hospital Childrens Wards distributing thousands of pounds worth of gifts to poorly children. I have distributed in person Aid to the Turkey/Syria border on 7 occasions, the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, Iraqi refugees in war torn Mosul (Iraq), poverty stricken Malawi (Africa), Pakistan Pre-Ramadan Deployment (March 2022) & to refugees in France & Belgium all in the last 9 years. In addition, I have fundraised almost £53,000 from my 2020 Ramadan 10k Run & project managed 116 house transformation in Malawi & provided full video feedback for each house. Furthermore, £78,751 fundraised from my 2021 Ramadan 10K Run to build 63 New 2 Room Homes for Syrian Refugees in Northern Syria with full video feedback for each house. From my Ramadan 2022 fundraising I raised £66,559 to build 35 New Homes for the Poor in Sindh, Pakistan which have been built & feedback videos in the process of bring shared with donors.

I will be taking Annual Leave from my paid employment as a Careers Adviser so I can help the less fortunate.
