Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am competing in the IRONMAN Austria event in June 2016. This event consists of a 3.8KM swim, 180KM bike and a 42.2KM run. I have decided to raise as much money as possible for Brain Tumour Research.
My grandfather, Graham 'POPS' Harcourt recently passed away and he was, unfortunately, one of many people in the UK who had a brain tumour. This is the reason I would like to raise money for Brain Tumour Research, along with the fact that the charity is woefully under funded. Brain Tumour Research receives less than 1% of national cancer research spending in the UK.
I hope you can spare a small donation for Brain Tumour Research and help me achieve my goal, of not only completing the gruelling challenge I have set myself, but also raise awareness for such good cause.
Thank you for visiting my page

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
