Story
I'm Paula: slow, clumsy and so indoorsy that I class cushions as wildlife. But, for the past two years, I have been trying all seventeen Glasgow 2014 sports in an attempt to prove that there is an activity out there for even the least athletic among us.
As the official charity partner of Glasgow 2014, UNICEF will be reaching out to some of the Commonwealth’s poorest children – ensuring the Games’ legacy resonates worldwide, and demonstrating the charity’s famous dedication to the preservation of children’s rights.
With the Games only a month away, it's time to show our dedication to UNICEF and those children they support. Donate £1 or more and I'll dedicate one of Glasgow's best - or worst - landmarks to you, by way of a lovely neon Post-It stuck to its brickwork and a commemorative photo for you to share with your loved ones - or hide in a drawer.
On 20th July, after carrying the Queen's Baton in Glasgow city centre, I'll be abseiling 164 feet from the Finnieston Crane to end the project for UNICEF. And there will be a dedicated Post-It at the top for one lovely person who donates!
