With just over 1000 mountain gorillas left in the world and 3 subspecies now critically endangered it is vital we do everything we can to save gorillas from extinction. We protect them from poachers, safeguard their forest home and improve livelihoods in local communities. Will you join us?

Story

MrGorilla is planning to swim across the river Thames to raise money for my endangered Gorilla brothers and sisters in central Africa with the help of the Gorilla Organisation.

The Port of London Authority have told me that they will not authorise a swim across the river in central London, regardless of any safety measures that are in place.

There used to be swim clubs along the Thames and people played on the beaches. Now it seems that the public are excluded from the river unless they are in a boat polluting it.

Fear not. MrGorilla is taking a stand against such injustice and he asks that you join him by donating towards the cause

One day, you will see him swim freely across the river on behalf of not only Gorillas, but also the British public. After all, it was challenges like this that put the Great into Britain.

Thanks for your help.
