Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

We have completed our WOHAA Mountain Trek! We had two great days full of fun, laughs and hard work! We trekked up and down Kinder Scout, the tallest mountain in the Peak District, set up camp and slept over in the minus temperatures. Unfortunatley, our camping stove blew up, so we had to cheat by making Pot Noodle! Olivia has a problem with her ankles, but managed to overcome this hurdle and she coped very well with the trek! We all miss the countryside, the mountains, the sheep and our lovely guide, Jo, who helped us all the way!

We made it into the Jewish Chroncle, where they printed a huge photo and caption.

Because of all the hard work we have put into our WOHAA project, Wings of Hope invited Team Unity to a work experince placement at Barclays in Canary Wharf. We had a day and a half in town, shadowing Personal Bankers, till workers, and learning all about banking.

We have gone over our target of £3000, to help poor children in India and Africa have an education and change their futures.

A child’s education for a whole year costs only £150! That’s only £2.50 per week to transform a child’s life, by propelling them out of poverty.

Thank You to all our sponsorers. We are very grateful for your contribution to our fundraising. Every little helps!

Please Donate. It will make a difference to their lives and to yours.
