May 3rd is the UK's "Stay at home motor show" - like lots of other events, many have been cancelled or postponed. 

The Classics for Carers theme aims to support those in our communities still working to protect the vulnerable - so I'll be displaying my 1971 Morris Traveller to support the work of the Safe and Sound support workers who are still working to keep local children and young people safe - especially now when the risks are that much higher. 

Safe and Sound work with children and young people who are at risk of grooming, abuse and both sexual and criminal exploitation. It's more common than you think - 1 in 20 children is at risk and Safe and Sound supported over 100 children in Derby last year alone. 

WIth your help we'll be able to continue helping the most vulnerable children and families in our local communities with a mixture of awareness & education, family support and youth work groups.
