Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm doing the London Triathlon event in remembrance of those people I lost in my life, and I want to help raise money for those who are fighting cancer fearlessly.
My grandmother Guei-Lian, whom I loved so much and took care of me since I was born. She passed away from gastric cancer in 2001. We took her on a family trip to Hong Kong during her last month of life, it was a place she always wanted to visit. She was strong during the whole trip and fought until the last day, but she didn't make it home. She was caring, loving, and the star of the family, and losing her was such an impact to all of us. 15 years has gone by, I only wish she was still around and that I can show her the rest of the world.
Also in remembrance of a lovely friend, Anthony Manners, whom was a great entrepreneur and kindly shared his wisdom, he passed away in 2015 from laryngeal cancer.
Lastly I want to do this for my auntie, who had been diagnosed of stage 3 breast cancer in 2014, she had been through several chemotherapy courses and is fighting bravely after her mastectomy operation. She is beautiful as always.
I believe everyone works stronger as a team, regardless of the amount, your donation and support mean so much to me. (and many others)
By achieving this fundraising, I know that there are more cancer patients will be able to get the supports they need.
Also I get to take part of the London Triathlon on 6th August 2016. I want to challenge and prove to myself that I can get out of my comfort zones to achieve more in this life. Hopefully, to inspire others too.
Together, we can. :)
