About THE MILVERTON MARQUEE
The Milverton Trust exists for the benefit of the of Milverton. For over twenty years the Trust has undertaken the organisation and management of Milverton's Annual Village Festival and Street Fair in May in order to raise funds for the village.
The Milverton May 2020 VE-day Festival will be a wonderful occasion to bring as many villagers together as possible and to see this dream fulfilled; but there are more personal occasions such as weddings, special birthdays, life’s milestones, other seasonal fairs and festivals and larger events hosted by Milverton’s clubs and societies. All these could be celebrated together overlooking the beautiful Quantocks if Milverton possessed its own marquee.
The perfect site is available at the Milverton Recreation Ground and Club House at Butts Way. All the essential services and amenities including, most importantly parking, are already in place. This ideal location is already owned by the Parish Council and Mother Nature has provided a beautiful view in one of the most tranquil of settings for such a marquee to create happy memories.
At 23 metres long, a fabulous marquee is being offered to The Milverton Trust for £10,000 which is an exceptional price (bearing in mind that to hire the very same marquee would cost £4,800; however, this marquee is not for hire as the vendor intends to sell it.) We therefore have a limited period in order to raise funds.
