Our amazing dad and the iconic fool of Great Western Morris, Mike Boston died on 9 December 2021. He had various illnesses but the immediate cause was a sudden pulmonary embolism. 

Although this page is in dad's memory, Nina and I still feel like it was mum's brain tumour that initially tore into this family and broke us. We had only six weeks between diagnosis on Friday 13 December 2019 and mum's death on 30 January 2020. There was nothing that the medical team could do about the tumour, it took hold quickly and they had no idea why or what caused it. 

We therefore felt that it was important to use this as another opportunity to raise funds for research into that catastrophic cancer in the hope that others don't have to go through the trauma that we have. We raised funds for The Brain Tumour Charity at mum's funeral and it was a charity that dad continued to support.
