10K on one lung in one hour to beat cancer. FULL STOP. 

My sister Yioda has terminal liver cancer, a much loved wife, mum, daughter, daughter inlaw, aunt, cousin, sister, friend, niece and freind.

I’m running the British 10k for cancer research on July 13 with the aim of finishing under one hour. I have one lung and it’s going to be painful, tiring and generally a tough - but a worthwhile task. 

Next time you are with loved ones, look around you – for every three people around you, one person will get cancer.  Whatever anyone says, you don’t really “beat” cancer. It follows you and strikes when it feels like it, devastating mothers, fathers, parents, children, sisters,brothers and friends. So if you know Yioda or you have experienced or felt the pain and devastation that cancer brings to your loved ones and you just don’t know what to do…turn it into a positive action. Appreciate what you have, smile, hug your the folks you love and either join me or sponsor me to raise money for cancer research, so we can find a cure for the tragedy of our generation.  Spread the love :-)
