On 16th June 2020, my loving grandma passed away.
Living alongside, and supporting, terminally ill friends and family is not uncommon to many of us. It's an experience most of us will have to go through, but it helps us learn to cherish each day as if it's our last.
This year I will be raising money, alongside my boyfriend George, for LOROS Hospice.
LOROS is a local charity to my family, who, every year care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to support terminally ill adult patients, their family and carers.
They have helped members of my family when they needed it most.
Raising money is only a small thank you in comparison to the appreciation we share.
Many families rely on the support of hospices just like LOROS, to help get them through some of life's most difficult times, and to make the final days of those suffering as positive as possible.
With your kind donations, we can help LOROS support those who need it most.
Sometimes, although we cannot change the outcome, we can be a part of helping others create memories with their loved ones that will last with them forever.
