On Wednesday 1st March one of my oldest friends passed as a result of cancer. He leaves behind his wife and two children, all of whom are being supported by the wonderful local charity Ayrshire Cancer Support. They helped them through the last couple of months and they have all spoken about how valuable the support has been.

The charity offers free transport to people receiving cancer care and counselling services to families which is invaluable to so many here in Ayrshire. The cost of counselling services alone is £500 per person, as such the family want any donations to please go to this charity via this webpage or direct.

Ewan was an amazing friend and I am so grateful for the critical help this charity gave to getting his wonderful family through the most unimaginable last few months.
