Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I work for The Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract and I'm fundraising for them by way of flinging myself out of a plane at 10,000ft on Saturday 7th May, hopefully with parachute attached!!
I am actually not very good with heights and really rather terrified about this, but it's for such a worthy cause.
The Prince of Wales Hospice cares for people in the Five Towns area with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, heart failure and motor neurone disease. They also look after the patient's friends, family and carers. Five Towns covers Ponte Carlo, Cas Vegas and many other fabulous places by the way!
Every year it costs £1.8million to run all of their vital services with just a third of this being supported by the local PCT. That means they rely on donations from the public to raise the other £1.2million! Any help you can give will be very gratefully received, it'll also mean that I have to jump! AAAAGH!!!!
Thank you, Melanie x
