We support young people to follow their dreams and ambitions

Story

My name is Meg Hansen, and I will be completing some kind of personal challenge in the early months of 2016 in order to raise money for the John Thornton Young achiever's Foundation.

To give a wee bit of information about the charity: 'The JTYAF supports young people from a wide range of youth organisations, providing them with scholarships and bursaries to support their personal development and the pursuit of their ambitions.' For more information, please visit www.jtyaf.org.

The JTYAF was set up to honour the legacy of John Thornton, ex-Air Cadet, ex-QJL (Qualified Junior Leader), ex-Royal Marine. John was tragically killed in Afghanistan at the unfortunate age of 22, but had achieved a phenomenal amount in those years - his parents set up this charity to help support young people in chasing their dreams.

Details of the new challenge will be posted shortly!!!

Please give generously to this deserving cause, and don't forget to GiftAid:)
