We are a small but tenacious group of Dragon school parents, with the attitude that there is always a way to get things to happen! We have taken this to an extreme, with help from the generous community in Oxford and the Dragon, and using family links in Lviv, we have managed to get over 50 loads of Humanitarian and Medical Aid to those who really need it in Ukraine.

Unlike larger organisations, we have been able to speak directly with Doctors, Mayors and Directors to find out what is really needed, specifically medical and surgical equipment. We have fundraised, procured and delivered medical equipment to Lviv and across Ukraine, receiving photos and videos of the equipment being used in surgery days after being sent! We have been so successful getting equipment to Surgeons who really need it, that bigger charities such as Médecins Sans Frontieres and the WHO have asked us to source, procure and deliver specialist equipment to Ukraine.

But medical equipment is expensive! With everything we source and buy getting to those who desperately need it, including to the front line and across Ukraine, we know you will be making a difference. But we need your help now! We are currently sending 3 vehicles packed with medical aid to Sumy, which is distributed to 5 of their hospitals. We have also linked up with the lovely Matt, who sources 4x4s in the UK and drives our aid directly to Sumy and other hospitals, leaving the vehicles to become field ambulances.

If you can help by donating a vehicle or money towards a 4x4, or money towards scanners which are in desperate need to see internal bleeding and shrapnel, but cost £3795.50 each, please get in touch!

We have already raised and spent over £50,000 on urgent medical equipment through fundraising in 2022 (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/medicalequipmentukraine), as well as nearly £17,000 crowdfunded for transport logistics (https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/dragon-donations-for-ukraine-logistics).

We have formed specific partnerships to supply hospitals in Dnipro and Kherson, close to the front line and which have urgent need for more medical equipment and drugs due to many casualties in these areas and the fact that the Russians took all the hospital supples when they de-occupied the Kherson region.
