JustGiving and Fundraising Everywhere join forces to help charity fundraisers upskill digitally through new online learning programme

27 September 2023

Leading fundraising platform, JustGiving has officially joined forces with online learning community, Fundraising Everywhere, to help one hundred charity professionals upskill digitally through a new online learning programme.

JustGiving’s new Digital Learning Grant, will provide funding for 100 charity professionals to access Fundraising Everywhere’s new six-month online training programme which aims at helping charity professionals develop their digital skills and achieve their fundraising goals sooner.

According to new research from the Charity Digital Skills Report 2023 there is a direct correlation between digital confidence and fundraising success, with around 40% of charities believing it is vital for them to improve their digital skills and 78% feeling that they are falling behind. ¹

Launching today, September 27, the Digital Learning Grant aims to address this and give fundraisers the confidence and skills they need to raise more money in a digital world.

The programme will provide one hundred participants with access to over seven hundred hours of digital online training, four hundred webinars, an opportunity to network and a chance to get one to one support on digital fundraising projects.

Charities across the world will have until 5pm on October 15 to apply for a position on this exciting new programme.

Successful applicants will receive a response by November 3 in time for the online course to begin on November 16.

Pascale Harvie, President and General Manager at JustGiving said: “We’re so honoured to be funding this year’s Digital Learning Grant that will give 100 fundraisers the opportunity to upskill digitally with a fantastic training programme created by Fundraising Everywhere.

“We know there is a connection between digital confidence and successful fundraising, and through this new programme, we’re proud to help charities access the vital digital skills needed to raise more money and awareness for their causes.”

Nikki Bell, Co-Founder of Fundraising Everywhere said: “We’re chuffed to be teaming up with JustGiving to make digital skills training more accessible. It’s wild that we’re experiencing a growing digital skills gap at a time when they’re so desperately needed, and post-pandemic our online impact needs to continue to grow.

“Through this programme, 100 people will learn and network with some of the sector’s best from wherever they are, whenever they want. We’re excited to see the impact this will have on the future of their charities.”
