Story
Hello, I am Georgina Measey, let me tell you why I am here. I was a happy and healthy teenager until the summer of 2009 when I was struck down with a mystery illness leaving me exhausted and in pain. I was later diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalopathy, a condition that is misunderstood.
This year, on Monday 6th of May (the start of M.E awareness week) to raise awareness and funds for research, my younger brother Oliver and my father Chris and my mum Debbie will be walking 1.25 miles around Brixworth Country Park as part of the Walk for ME challange, with me in tow too! We will be following the Skylark Trail, which is the longest wheelchair friendly route I have managed to find.
I hope you can dig deep and donate a little money towards our walk, we'll all be most grateful!
