Northern Ireland's leading local cancer charity, Action Cancer, has launched their male fundraising initiative 'Grow Mo' - encouraging guys to grow facial hair for one month in support of the charity's men's health campaign, Action Man, which encourages men to ‘Get a Grip’ of their health and be aware of testicular and prostate cancers. All money raised will stay in Northern Ireland.

At Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van (NI), 16 members of staff are taking on the challenge and are committed to 'Growing Mo's' throughout the month of November.

Andrew Dickinson, Marketing Manager at Mercedes-Benz Truck and Van NI said, ‘‘We decided to take part in Grow Mo this year because we really liked that all the money raised stays here in Northern Ireland. With loads of guys in our team it seemed like a fun way of raising funds for this fantastic cause.’’

Stacey Graham from Action Cancer said, “Grow Mo is a great way to raise funds for a local charity delivering services for men in your community. We would like to encourage other workplaces to get involved.  As well as promoting Grow Mo, we want to also remind men about our free MOT health checks available.”
