About Mavisbank School
Mavisbank is a non-denominational, co-educational school which caters for secondary aged pupils with a range of complex additional support needs.
The vision for the school is to provide a learning experience whereby all pupils will maximise their potential in a happy, caring and supportive environment.
Pupils follow a differentiated Curriculum for Excellence with learners working on highly individualised plans. We use a variety of teaching approaches to support the range of learners needs and make full use of the local community and vocational opportunities to enhance the learner experience.
We use our Funds to help create Activities which include enterprise projects, specialist visits, educational visits and theme days and weeks.
