The Matthew of Bristol is a replica of the 15th-century caravel that John Cabot sailed from Bristol to Newfoundland in 1497. The Trust maintains and preserves the ship for future generations, providing education for all ages about the ship, John Cabot and their historic transatlantic voyage.
