I am running the Great North Run (18th Sept) and the Liverpool Marathon (09th Oct) and thought why not try and raise a few quid for a worthy cause while I'm at it.

The Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital charity supports projects which aim to make life a little easier for young patients and their families.

My daughter Grace has regular outpatient visits to the hospital so I know what a great job they do there and I know there are many kids far less fortunate than she is, so anything to make their lives that bit easier is worth doing.
