To celebrate Matilda's 7th birthday, we are delighted to announce the return of Matilda'S miles to the Phoenix Park at 11am on Saturday 18th June 2022. Matilda'S miles is a fun family event we host every year in memory of our beautiful smiling baby girl, while raising funds for Children's Health Foundation, Crumlin.

For those of you who haven't been to a Matilda'S miles event before, we meet at the Papal Cross for some games and treats, before heading off on a 5km walk/jog/run/cycle/scoot. The route is well signposted, you'll be guided by stewards, and we end up back at the Papal Cross carpark. Many people also choose to bring a picnic and catch up with friends after the event. There's plenty of space and the Phoenix Park really is such a beautiful facility.

If you can't make it to the Phoenix Park this year, why not take part in your own Matilda'S miles event on the same day, or whenever suits you? This could be a walk or run in your own neighbourhood, a picnic in your local park, blowing bubbles and playing some outdoor games, or whatever reminds you of the fun we usually have in the Phoenix Park every summer. Just don't forget to donate to this great cause.

Since Matilda was born, over €194,000 has been raised by her family and friends for the Children's Heart Centre in Crumlin Hospital, including over €127,000 from the annual Matilda'S miles events held since 2016.

We know everyone's circumstances are different at the moment, so donate what you can afford. Every penny will count and all funds raised will go directly to the Children's Heart Centre in Crumlin Hospital to enable the wonderful team there to continue to treat little babies with heart conditions.

This is a very worthy cause, and we appreciate all your support in helping us give back to the team who gave us such wonderful times with our gorgeous, happy baby girl, Matilda. We look forward to seeing you in the Phoenix Park at 11am on Saturday 18th June.
