Food poverty is a critical issue here in Birmingham, and numbers are soaring of those in need. We remained open throughout the pandemic providing much needed emergency food parcels to those in Aston & Nechells. But as the pandemic comes to an end the numbers are rocketing beyond belief as the cost of living crisis takes hold. Every week right now we set a new record, and not one we're proud of!

The Villa fans have been a lifeline for the Foodbank, donating in their masses at match day collections and via online campaigns. With our Easter fixture being moved due to Liverpool's FA Cup tie we're asking the fans to donate the cost of their match day pint to help provide those in the local community with much needed food parcels.
