Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Recently, my friend Dan wrote a blog post, which you can find linked below, about a friend of his whose father sadly passed away due to Pancreatic Cancer. You should give it a read, because it managed to reach even my cynical, jaded heart. Dan has put together a team of runners to try and raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Action and I've decided to join him.

In the past I've been a fairly active runner, however my fitness has recently taken a nosedive due to various reasons. Having not engaged in so much as a modicum of exercise over the past two years, this seemed like a good opportunity to take part in the Vitality 10k Run in July and help build my fitness levels back up, whilst also contributing to an important and worthwhile cause. This, of course, is probably a lot easier said than done - but if I thought it was going to be easy then I wouldn't be doing it!

I'd massively appreciate anything you can donate; it will all go towards a larger grand total being raised by the team I'm part of.
