*Help us build a masjid and a water-pump in Kweno, Uganda* 

“Whoever builds a house [masjid] for the pleasure of Allah, whether it be small or large Allah builds for him a house in Paradise”. (Tirmidhi)

Earlier this year, our beloved Hadia Amawi returned to her lord, following a very short battle with cancer. She was a very special mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and pillar in the Swindon community. She is deeply missed by us all but has left behind a meaningful and beautiful legacy. Haji Hadia was a very pious woman and always made time for her prayers. May Allah be pleased with her, Ameen. 

Although she is deeply missed by us all, we are comforted by the charity that we are able to do in her name, and to be able to perform good acts on her behalf. Hadia was a generous woman, who had a heart of gold and cared for anyone she met.

By building Masjid Al-Hadia in Kweno, Uganda, we are able to provide a comfortable Masjid for the less fortunate villagers. This is so, that they are perform their daily worship in ease. The water-pump will also provide clean water as and when they need it for their daily necessities. Currently, their masjid is made of leaves and has severe damage to all walls. Therefore the local villagers struggle to use it for its purpose.
