I will be doing the kiltwalk to raise money for a charity that is close to home. All through my youth and into becoming an adult the gk experience have provided me with so many opportunities I would not have had, from trips all over Scotland, weekly clubs with activities and courses to develop my learning and skills, trips to sporting events, camping trips, hikes, football tournaments and socialising in settings I would never dream to put myself out to/ or have the opportunity to do so. This charity has helped to steer me away from a path of underage drinking/drugs, antisocial behaviour and provided me with the view of the world that there is much more to life. From the staff to youth workers and young leaders and all the volunteers in between I am very grateful to have had this experience . Any donations will continue this support for young people all over Glasgow, so if you’ve got a spare couple of quid it will go a long way 💚.
