We are creating a world without limits to support people affected by epilepsy.

Story

In around April 2013, my partner Paul was diagnosed with epilepsy. The diagnosis seemed to come completely out of the blue. For the past 30 years Paul had been relatively healthy and so to be diagnosed with epilepsy was quite hard to deal with. The impact this has had on our lives was, and on the bad days still is, huge. It initially felt like life as we knew it had changed forever.

We have two daughters, Eve (4) and Annie (2). They have witnessed their dad's condition first hand. They understand as much as they're capable. They know what to do and when to do it should an emergency happen. We're very proud of them.

Epilepsy is a neurological condition with a stigma and often people with epilepsy are too embarrassed to talk about it. One of the reasons I am running for Epilepsy Action is to raise awareness of epilepsy and to get rid of this unnecessary shame. Please help me do this by donating whatever you can - we all truly appreciate it.

And, if the story's not enough, let's not forget I'm soon to be running 26.2 miles! That's 26.2 miles people! I'm still trying to get that message into my head!

Whatever your reason for support, THANK YOU!!!
