On the 22nd of October I am embarking on a five day trek along the Great Wall of China. During these five days, I will be walking 16-20km daily along particularly steep and rocky terrain. I am a self fundraiser and therefore all money raised through this page will be going directly to PHA-UK.

As those of you who know me will be aware I am not renowned for my physical fitness and therefore I am expecting this to be a particularly challenging adventure for me. Rest assured I am not taking this challenge lightly and training has already begun...a BIG THANK YOU  goes out to all of you that are dragging me out on walks etc to ensure I'm physically capable of completing the trek!

And why you may ask am I doing this?.......

As many of you may know my dear friend Lucy sadly passed away on the 7th April 08. For just over two years Lucy had been diagnosed with Pulmonary Hpertension.

Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) is a blood vessel disorder of the lung in which the pulmonary artery pressure rises above normal levels and may become life threatening by placing increased pressure upon the heart.

PHA-UKs mission is to seek a cure, to provide hope, support and education to PH patients and their families, and every penny dontated through this page will go towards this.
