This fundraising page is dedicated to my beloved father, Ghulam Rabbani, who dedicated his life to helping others. In the community, from building mosques to homes & hospitals in Pakistan. My father was an amazing, selfless man and devoted father. Gone from this Earth but not from our hearts. This ramadan, I have decided to support two wonderful charities - Maa & One Nation. For Maa, I will be supporting their Stand By Maa campaign. For One Nation, I will be supporting their Emergency Homes for Syria campaign.

In Bangladesh, maternal mortality is the third leading cause of death and 90% of these deaths are preventable. Maa aims to revolutionise maternal healthcare in Bangladesh, a vision that has inspired me to create this page to help them achieve this. 

Through the recent unveiling of the OneMaa primary healthcare model and the MaaConnect app, Maa are one step closer to achieving their goals.For just £25 a month, Maa are able to utilise this novel approach to provide mothers with life-saving medication, regular pregnancy checks and educational workshops on managing safe pregnancies. A revolutionary service that aims to educate a community, specialise a workforce and connect a fragmented healthcare system.

One Nation

Recently almost a million people were displaced from Idlib during sustained military assaults on the region. Since then One Nation's team have been building emergency homes in Syria for homeless families. 

Through their last fundraiser, One Nation have raised enough donations to build more than 450 2 bedroom homes alhumdulillah. They are continuing to build these essential homes and need your support for the new Ramadan campaign.

This time One Nation aim to build homes for bigger families - 3 bedroom houses. Each new brick home will have 3 rooms, a toilet, kitchen and a bathroom, this time with a solid tin roof, for £1000.
