Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

July 2014 will mark 10 years since I had a sudden serious accident that left me having an emergency operation and being in hospital for a while. Being in a hospital that was 45minutes away from home The Sick Childrens Trust was a major help to my parents and family. It gave them somewhere comfortable and close by to stay and took a big weight off their shoulders throughout the whole stressful experience.
Anybody who's had a loved one in hospital, especially during a very serious time, knows how horrible it is to be so far away from them if anything happens and how hard it can be to relax on a chair next to the hospital bed.

The Sick Childrens Trust receives no government funding and relys soley on donations which is one of the other major reasons I want to run and raise money for them. They really are an amazing charity and I really want to give as much back as I can, so any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou,
Maisie Lyne.
