Story

* * * UPDATE 31/05/16 * * *

Over the past couple of weeks, the situation in the district of Al Waer in the city of Homs has become deadly. Al Waer has been besieged for a number of years now, but escalating violence in recent weeks has caused even more of a strain on the district. Food, medication and clean water are almost impossible to come by. People have already started starving to death, others are headed towards severe malnutrition.

Shelling has increased on Al Waer recently, stealing the lives of residents of the district, and putting more pressure on medical facilities that are already suffering with a shortage of supplies.

The situation is desperate and we need your help to respond quickly. We have a team working on the ground in Al Waer who will distribute emergency aid to those in need. Our teams work on the ground inside Syria to ensure aid goes to where it is needed the most.

Please donate and help us aid the starving people of Syria.
