Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

Alzheimers affects so many families and as a cause close to my heart and my family, I want to raise funds to help The Alzheimers Society in the fight against this awful illness.

We sadly lost my mother-in-law recently who had suffered this terrible illness for many years. We were blessed to have such a lovely lady in our lives and although it was sad to see her trapped in the misery that Alzheimers causes both the sufferer and the family, we have such lovely memories of her that will always remain in our hearts.

I am running the London Marathon on 26th April 2015 in her memory and would like to raise funds to donate to the Alzheimers Society.

I will be training hard, in all winds and weather conditions too and ask that you support me and please donate (no matter how small) to help me complete the 26.2 miles.

Donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Just Giving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
