We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Hi and thanks for visiting my justgiving page! My name's Lucy and in 2008 my mum Wendy sadly lost her fight with breast cancer. As you can imagine it tore my whole world apart, as happens to anyone left behind after a loved one passes. In April 2013 I gave birth to my beautiful boy Marshall. An event that was supposed to only be filled with the joy a baby can bring, but what really hurt was knowing that he would never have the chance to meet his grandma, and how she never got to be one.

This is why it's so important to continue raising money for cancer research, so this doesn't have to happen. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. As you've already taken a few minutes to visit my page please please please donate, even if it's only a teeny tiny amount a little goes a long way.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create a force that cancer can't ignore.

Gift Aid it!

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

Sponsor me now, and we can become cancer's worst nightmare.

One day we will beat cancer. Help us make it sooner.
