This year, a member of our family got diagnosed with Brugada Syndrome, a rare heart condition. Luckily the condition was spotted and thanks to treatment and careful monitoring he can carry on with his life, but it was a huge shock to him and all the family. 

The condition can be hereditary so we have all been going through the tests, fingers crossed no one else has it, but the tests have made me realise how little is known about the condition and the process has had a big effect on our lives. 

If we can raise money to improve awareness, understanding and research, it will make a huge difference in the long run to people going through the same thing.
