Story
In a weak moment, Jim and I agreed to run the BUPA Great Edinburgh Run 10K for the Child Brain Injury Trust on the 4th May 2008.
Each year, more than 20,000 children will acquire a brain injury in the UK. This can be the result of an accident, illnesses such as meningitis or encephalitis, poisoning, stroke or tumour. CBIT provides information, support and training to children, families and professionals affected by childhood acquired brain injury.
CBIT have been fantastic over the past 7 years (spookily, 4th May is 7 years to the weekend since Sara's accident). It would be wonderful if you could help us give something back to them please by sponsoring us on the 4th May in Edinburgh. You will know us, we will be the couple in dire need of oxygen!!
Thank you so much,
Lorna and Jim
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Child Brain Injury Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
