Story

Thank you for visiting The London Tideway Tunnels Team WaterAid Fundraising Page.

We are participating in the annual one mile rafter race to be organised by Thames Water. We have two teams participating this year - The Thames Tunnel and The Lee Tunnel. Upto 40 themed rafts will battle it out on the river Thames Caversham Bridge in this annual legendary event. Each team will design, build and decorate their raft and wear fancy dress based on the theme of Superheroes.

Wateraid enables the world's poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. These basic human rights underpin health, education and livelihoods and form the first, essential step in overcoming poverty.
