Story
The end of 2015 was not kind to us as a band, with four of our six members enduring the heartbreak of losing a relative within a period of two months.
In November, we were devastated when Nathan, our keyboard player, lost his younger brother Michael at the age of just 20.
Michael had been working hard to achieve his dream career working in live events, working on live sound, video and lighting, and sadly passed away whilst working in Dubai.
A kinder and more determined young man you would have struggled to find, Michael was taken far too young and had much still to offer. He had been part of the lobster family since the very beginning, and many of you may remember him as the guy filming our events at the Wagon and Horses in 2012 and 2013. Most of the videos on our youtube were filmed by Michael, and it is very emotional for us to watch them back now.
We will be taking no profit from this event, and donating everything to Diabetes uk through a foundation to be set up in Michael's name. So, we are calling on all of you to come out to the Hare and Hounds on March 19th to celebrate the life of an inspirational young man; it would mean more to us than you can imagine if we can fill out the room, make some real money for charity and give our dear friend and brother a truly fitting send off.
Thank you for your continued support, we have emerged from a tough time as a band and are getting ourselves ready to return.
RIP MICHAEL LEWIS - 14/5/1995 - 25/11/2015
Gone but never forgotten, forever a member of the lobster family x
