I decided to run the marathon 3 years ago thanks to the wonderful inspiration of Nicola Miller (you're in big trouble!!), however, having not been successful in the ballot I have finally decided to run the marathon with the NSPCC. Its going to be a big challenge, especially as I promised myself I wouldnt run another half marathon again let alone a full marathon! So I will need everyone's support over the next 5 months! Having spent a day with the NSPCC staff, learning more about the charity understanding where the money will go to has really made me want to not only complete the marathon even more but raise as much money for the charity as possible. All the money raised this year will be going directly towards the helpline to ensure they maintain answering 100% of all calls going into the charity.
