About A L LEWIS VC MEMORIAL FUND
Allan Leonard Lewis was posthumously awarded a Victoria Cross following two acts of bravery during World War 1. He was killed in action on 21st September 1918 and he remains Herefordshire's only county-born VC recipient.
A bronze life-size statue of him will stand in Hereford.
