Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm currently challenging myself to build a series of bespoke Lego toilet dolls.
For your chance to win a unique, functional and 100% Lego toilet doll please make a donation here on my JustGiving page. All proceeds are going to Sight Scotland, a charity very close to my heart.
If you wish to enter the raffle please provide your name and tick the box “I’m happy to share my contact details with Stewart Lamb Cromar for the purposes of thanking me”.
What’s a toilet doll?
For those unfamiliar with a toilet dolly, these traditionally crocheted or knitted figures discreetly cover the spare toilet roll in your bathroom. Both my grans (Peggy and Millie) used to raise money for their local churches by making kitsch toilet dolls and I’m keen to continue this cherished family tradition in their honour.
My sight loss journey
Two years ago, I permanently lost some of my vision following a series of retinal detachments. The trauma of five major surgeries and trying to adapt to my new circumstances has been hard. But playing with Lego has helped my rehabilitation both physically and mentally.

My chosen charity is Sight Scotland
For more than 225 years, Sight Scotland have been supporting people with sight loss and blindness. They are one of Scotland's oldest charities and are dedicated to empowering people with visual impairments to lead fulfilling lives.

- £12 donation - could help us produce expert advice guides for someone who is losing their sight, in a format that is accessible to them.
- £22 donation - could provide specialist training to our team of befriending volunteers, so even more people with sight loss have someone to turn to.
- £54 donation - could provide a family member or person with sight loss three hours of support from a community worker.
