Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Rory and I are fundraising for brightest star by taking part in the kilt walk, 3 mile wee wander!

In October 2023 our Eilidh Bailey passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. She had bacterial meningitis. Eilidh passed away peacefully in our arms and surrounded with love.

Eilidh was transferred from university hospital Wishaw to Glasgow children’s hospital via specialist ambulance. It meant a parent could travel with Eilidh. It’s only now that I know that ambulance was provided by brightest star! We also received precious memory box and hand casts through the charity.

Brightest star is run by Arlene, who lost her son, and it’s through her loss that brightest star is here. They provide many different support including counselling services, wellness days, family days and much much more.

Please help us to give back to this wonderful charity who we have had so much from.

Thank you
