Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On March 15th 2014, I'll be competing in A Little Less Strictly for the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.  The event will take place at the Hilton, Glasgow and will, hopefully, raise a huge amount of money for such a fantastic cause.

I used to think I was okay on the dancefloor - perfectly capable of 'shaking what my mamma gave me' and bopping away to the beat.  Being a DJ, I'd like to think I possess a bit of rhythm.  However, this has opened my eyes!

I'll be dancing with my partner Colin Sharp who has been incredibly patient with me and I want to do him proud...without breaking his toes or throwing out his back.

I'm sure you, or someone you know, has had experience of a hospice before.  The thing I learnt is a hospice is not a depressing place - it's full of hope and support and a lot of care is given to not only the patients but the families too.  Without your donations, the hospice would not be able to do the incredible work it does.

Please sponsor me and help us raise lots and lots of money for this very worthwhile charity.

About the charity

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, situated in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, exists to help our patients achieve the best quality of life possible in whatever time remains for them. Where it may not be possible to add days to lives, we aim to add life to days for patients and their families.
