About Knaresborough Town Museum
We are working to establish and run an independent town museum in Knaresborough for the benefit of the local community to advance public knowledge, appreciation and enjoyment of the rich history of Knaresborough and its surrounding area by collecting, conserving, displaying and interpreting a range of historical material which showcases the social and industrial history, archaeology and geology, and provides an educational resource for local schools.
