Story
To celebrate the "milestone" of turning thirty in the middle of a global pandemic & powerful civil rights movement, I'm excited to have this opportunity to invite my friends & family to donate to an organization that supports the future of the youth, environment & overall communities in need in LA.
I'm lucky to be able to call LA my home - and while my heart (like my people!) is still in many places around the world - I'm committed to being the best neighbor and advocate for this city. Especially when it comes to our youth and disadvantaged communities.
If you know me, you know how special Los Angeles' beaches & hiking trails are to me. It's a privilege to be able to enjoy them and I'm thrilled to be able to give back to those that work so hard to keep them beautiful. Until, of course, I'm able to become more physically involved with the Corps when it's allowed!
Thank you all for your love & support and for considering this way to celebrate my birthday with me. I'm so richly blessed.
You can read more about the Corps mission below, and how they transform the lives of youth from disadvantaged communities through work and education. PLUS their work projects improve the quality of life for our communities and protect the environment for future generations. SO MUCH TO LOVE!
TIMELY NOTE FROM THE CORPS:
As always in times of crisis, the Corps is stepping up to serve. We're on the front lines, answering the call, pivoting rapidly to help deliver vital emergency services to those in need. However, as COVID-19 spreads, our ability to provide paid work experience and support services that hundreds of young people are relying on right now is in jeopardy. Please donate now to ensure that our young Corps members who are already vulnerable to homelessness, food insecurity, financial instability, & more don't fall through in the days to come.
