Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 4th February it was World Cancer Day, when millions of people unite in the fight against cancer. Using a number of activities, the cancer team members at Kingston University aim to raise money towards cancer research for BRIGHT cancer charity ( e.g 13 mile Surrey Three peaks walk, The London marathon, Self - defence Classes, international dance workshops and much more).

BRIGHT is a gastro-intestinal (GI) cancer and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) cancer charity based at the St Luke's Cancer centre at the Royal Surrey Hospital, Guildford. BRIGHT funds vital research and new treatments options for patients with cancers of the colon, stomach, oesophagus, liver, pancreas and gallbladder.

We would be grateful for your sponsorship and support of our events towards this amazing charity's various projects which are improving cancer patients' survival, outcomes and treatments.
