About Kendal Mountain Search & Rescue Team

Since 1953, Kendal Search & Mountain Rescue team has been searching for and helping those in difficulty. We are one of 12 teams across Cumbria and the Lake District on call 24 hrs per day, 7 days a week. The team is funded entirely from donations. It costs around £ 65,000 per year to run the team.
