Fundraising for The Footprints Foundations
Story
As some of you may know already, myself and a few of my work colleagues have been given the most incredible experience from our amazing workplace Revolution Beauty!
We will be travelling to Johannesburg for a week in October to volunteer and give our time to the community, helping out in any way we possibly can - this will include working with the children in the orphanages, teaching, cooking, decorating and just generally being hands on with all that we can do.
I am beyond grateful to have been given this experience, it definitely is a once in a lifetime opportunity and something that I have always wanted to do but never knew where to start looking to get that push to do it. It will be very eye opening and humbling but I know I've got what it takes to give my absolute all to the community that I will be working with.
In order for me to actually get on the plane to fly out to South Africa, I have been kindly asked if I can raise some money for the charity - this will go towards all the necessities we will need to help the community within the week that we are there. To raise the money I have madly chosen to do a skydive and jump 12,000ft from the sky!!!!! This is something I have always dreamt of doing, and it makes it even more rewarding knowing I will be doing it for such an amazing charity.
This is where I need help from you guys, and anyone who would like to donate to a good cause - it would mean the absolute world if you could donate what you can to help get me out to South Africa, I will be so so grateful for every penny and a pound that is donated. My goal is £1,345, which is £1,000 to go to the charity, and £345 to pay for the skydive. The goal is to be reached by the end of August.🤞
I will be jumping from Headcorn in Maidstone on the 20th August arriving at 11am. Anyone is more than welcome to come and watch, but all you will see is a little pea sized me screaming falling from the sky!!
