Story
Thanks for visiting my page.
On 12th July I will be riding the LIVE ON Cycle Challenge in aid of the Royal British Legion.
I will be starting the ride from my house in Reading and making my way to the start line at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst. From here the ride will wend its way via RAF Odiham and then through the Hampshire countryside to Portsmouth's Historical Naval Docks. In doing so, I will be joining all three of her Majesty's Armed Forces in one route.
The official route is 60miles long but with the extra distance from my house to the start line, it will work out equivalent to around 75 miles long, which will make it my longest single bike ride to date.
I have been raising money for charity via sporting events for several years now, but unfortunately I have had to forego my place at the annual ice-hockey charity tournament I usually attend this year. This has however given me the opportunity to do something else that I love (cycling) and personally choose a charity that is close to my heart and I believe the Royal British Legion do some extraordinary work and always donate as much as I can every year. I hope I can raise a few extra bucks this year and any donations you can spare would be gratefully received.
