Last year, Cancer wormed its evil way into my inner circle. In the same month my friend's body turned against her, mine was growing a precious new life...my third child. Our lives were suddenly very different. My beautiful, brave friend underwent surgery and chemo and is a surviver! Nothing prepared me for the shock of such a close friend being diagnosed with breast cancer. I am running this half marathon for her and for the journey she has gone through. She is my inspiration and my hero.

I run at least 3 times a week, it is a challenge just to get out sometimes as I have 3 children under 6. But I do because this charity is so important. Without medical treatment, my friend would not be here. An unbearable thought so please  join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me - it's quick, easy and totally secure.

This year I have also taken part in the Leeds pretty muddy 5k, the Leeds 5k (with my 5year old) the Pontefract 10k and the York 10k. At Pontefract, I spoke on stage about Enma's journey and I will be doing the same at Clumber Park. It is important to spread the word and get the money flowing in.
